April Fool in Bellisseria, Second Life

Bellisserians* are ever alert to rumors about future housing styles, so when I got a message that something was going on in Millbank, I rushed over.

There, in a vacant lot that had previously only been home to a few camels, were four multi-story prim block apartments.

I flew in for a closer look.

There was a crowd of Moles, Lindens, and curious residents.  Patch Linden was saying that he had a simple solution to the problem of re-homing the residents of the First Generation Homes. Someone asked him to reconsider. Someone else was handing out gas masks - then there was an explosion and smoke**.

I flew higher.

I joined a horse on the balcony for a safer view.

When the smoke had cleared I explored further and found an LDPW vehicle with a warning tag  "one vehicle exceeds garage LI limit".

There was a note dropped near the car that explained one Mole's concerns about building community housing.

Later, reading the SL Newser I realized I had not taken pictures of the Soviet-style posters, the helicopter on the roof, or "The People's Great and Glorious Elevator". Alas, the field was vacant again, with only the camels...

*Bellisserian - anyone who identifies as a resident of Bellisseria.

**The smoke was photoshopped a bit to protect the names of the innocent - and the guilty.
