Fantasy Faire 2024 in Second Life: A Last Round

I was running out of time and had to run through the last regions.

Fairelands Junction:

Where it all started. Here were the portals to the other Regions and information posters about events. There were numerous memorial candles available so that residents could remember those who have passed on. As candles were used, they added more. Towards the end of the event there were so many candles that some of them were floating in the air. You could also view the Worldlings (dioramas showing possible builds for next year's Fantasy Faire).

Below a bridge, a solitary giant frog in Fairelands Junction

Silevea:

A shopping region sponsored by Unity Maxim, which is a group of dozens of role-playing Regions. Landscaping by CubeRepublic. Harshland's Curious Schrooms watch you pass.  Cube Republic's curious Star Mushrooms glow along the path. In the center the Fairechylde, the airship base for dance events, blooms like a giant flower.

The floating airship, Fairechylde

Plankbarrow Harbor:

One of the more complicated builds, with surprises around every corner of the plank sidewalk. Nearing the next region I wondered "Where's the frog?" and there he was.

Duskfall Court:

A feline from Quills and Curiosities waits at both ends of the path through Duskfall Court. Like the Region, its coat is accented in purple and blue.

Welcome Faelidae

Lolliocapalypse:

Sponsored by What's Lost Spirits and Nephilim Photography, it is the very Region to help you stay on your diet. I couldn't find a frog there. It was probably eaten.

Stately halls with a fantasy feel. Unfortunately, late on Tuesday, parts of the build seem to be fading and I am having problems with my camera controls.

Time to take a break.

Later:

Avalon: Sponsored by Fallen Gods, Inc. Designed by Alia Baroque in collaboration with Garvie Garzo and Allial Allen.

The Avalon Dragon "Johnny"

A Region that invoked awe and wonder. Taking the path through the Regions you saw rock shapes reminiscent of spiked coils and scales, and the head of the sleeping dragon was resting offshore. There was a Stonehenge-like lithic monument and an ancient tower on top, and small shops on the outer slopes that (to me) resembled barrows. The Region was sliced in half, and along the walls of the chasm was a well-designed shopping center.

A hidden frog.

But....As if to counteract the grandeur and seriousness of the exterior, a hidden secret.

The Ogham Grove Quest asked you to learn Ogham
and translate the message on the pillar.

I'm thinking I should put some of these photos into a "Frogs of the Fairelands" collection.

Books everywhere! Houses made of books, or with books as doorframes.

One shop offered a swirling ride through a ..... library.

Delightful small details

I think I'm seeing a theme here.

Second Life: Japanese Shrines and Temples

At one time I wanted to do the Shikoku pilgrimage in Japan; however, that is no longer possible for me.  So, I was delighted to find that...
