SL20B in Second Life - A Look Back

Designing Worlds has two videos showing off some of the SL20B builds. One shows the official Linden Lab builds, the other shows resident-made builds.

This year's exhibits were the usual mixture of corporate-sponsored, group, and individual efforts. Even though I took the pod and balloon-tours, and even though the expo time was extended, I wasn't able to see everything.

Between all the gifts at the SL20B Exhibition and the SL20B Shopping even, my inventory has expanded again.

One of the things I love about the Second Life Birthday Expos is that I find out about new places, groups, and people. This time I learned about artist Gem Preiz.

Gem Preiz describes his exhibit as "Resonating Eggs is an interactive and immersive installation where the visitor can play with objects which communicate with each other and create a constantly changing environment of colors and lights."

To get a sense of scale, the tiny dot near mid-center is the top of my avatar's head.

Here is an excellent video showing one of his earlier exhibits: 'Lines of Light'
