Virtual Worlds Consortium - Best Practices in Education  runs March 31st to April 2nd.  For more information and the slurl read Emma Cleanslate's article in the SL Newser.

Admission is free. I usually only attend a few lectures, but I love visiting the exhibits and seeing how educators use virtual reality in their classrooms.
Swag bag contents, main screen of teleporter  hud, and lotus chair.

I grabbed a swag bag and put on the teleporter hud and the VIP badge.

Note: The 'sit anywhere' chairs navigate well through the exhibits, but if you try to cross between exhibits instead of teleporting be sure to put your avatar in 'fly' mode, or you and your chair will fall...

An exhibit on 'Idioms' Be sure to pick up the gift box.

Admission is free; however, a contribution is accepted. This year I decided to contribute by joining Rockcliffe University, whose events I have been attending for years as part of the Rockcliffe University Students group.

Virtual Outworlding is an excellent blog covering education in the meta/multiverse.
