Lantern Ceremony at Home and Garden Expo in Second Life

The Home and Garden Show this year runs from February 26th to March 20th. Every year, for ten years, there has been a nightly Lantern Lighting Ceremony at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hope%203/66/198/46  at 4pm SL time.

The events guide describes it as:

A quiet reflective moment to remember those who are gone and celebrate those still fighting as lights of hope rise into the skies above the expo. Join us if you can for this moving moment atop the theater.

I stopped by the other night and I was confused because no one else was there and there were no lanterns. Turns out that you have to touch the lantern dispensers nearby.

It was beautiful.
