New Resident Information - 'Choose an Avatar' - Part Two - Fantasy Avatars

Most of the fantasy avatars have clothing and accessories that can come off without too much trouble, as long as you remember to take off the corresponding 'alphas' and 'foot shapers'. Most of the 'toppers' (halos, horns, cute hats, etc...) are attached to the hair so when you take them off you may end up with an avatar with just a hair 'tattoo'.


Anna is an angel. You can remove her wings, and her halberd, but you can't take off her halo without taking off her hair.

Elleria. You can remove her horns, and her wings. Her gloves will also come off, but then you need to remove the glove alpha.

Marcus. You can remove his wings, and his sword, and both shoulder and body armor will come off. The halo is attached to his hair.

Sauin. You can remove his horns and his wings, and his shoulder piece.

Kara. You can remove her cape, and the sprite companion called 'Kiva', and her shoes. Her headdress, though, is attached to her hair.

Feng. You can remove his gauntlets, and his pet sprite 'Hugo, and his boots. You can remove his armor top....but...when you remove the armor alpha he ends up looking like he has tears in his britches. (not shown out of concern for those who are sensitive to that kind of thing).

Rhiannon.  Yes, you get the horse, too! You can remove the bow, and the quiver, and the pet horse ("Erwin") and Rhiannon can get along well on her own, even though she is wearing the 'female rider' AO. There have been complaints that the 'female rider' animation means that she has to ride sidesaddle. Note - it says that you have to have a bento viewer to see the horse.

Thomas and his horse Edgar. You can remove the horse, the cape, and the sword.

Morgan. You can remove the wand, and her pet cat Theo. If you remove the cape you must also remove the cape alpha. She has a 'head accessory' that can be removed as well.

Emrys and Pet Owl Oloysias. You can remove the owl, and the wand, but don't remove his robes, because when you do that and take off the alpha he doesn't have any clothes.

Leah. Her companion is a pet drone named DOT. You can't really remove anything but the drone. I experimented with trying to transfer the prosthetic leg to another avatar; however, it turned out it was all one piece with the pants. Instead, you might change the 'Leah' parts instead....

Jaxon. His companion is a pet drone named R-080-7. You can remove his bionic arms and his vest (take off the alphas).

Petrol Sue and her pet ferret Spark Plug. You can remove the ferret, and the back and side holsters. You can remove the boots and the boot alpha.

Diesel Bill and his pet rat Lugnut. You can remove the rat, shoulder accessory, and scarf. You can remove his boots and the boot alpha.

Abigail. You can remove her earrings, her pet spider Edison, and her necklace. You can remove her boots, but you must also remove her boot alpha and her boot shaper. 

Jasper and his pet scorpion Geoffrey. You can remove hat(with hair), scorpion, shirt, gloves, and boots (with corresponding alphas).

Iliana and her pet bat Azazel. You can remove bracelets, lashes, pet bat, teeth (and alpha), the 'bloody lips' tattoo, shoes (with alpha) and the 'Bloodlust' HUD. (Note that the HUD opens your avatar's mouth in a snarl. If you want to do other vampire stuff like getting into a coffin you will have to look for animations on the Marketplace.)

Dimitri and his pet snake Lilith. You can remove snake (attached to cane), 'bloody lips' tattoo, long coat (and alpha), teeth (and alpha), and 'Bloodlust' HUD.

Now, these last two fantasy figures are vampires, but there are another dozen vampire avatars in another section. I guess they must be popular.

Sheesh - trying on avatars is hard work. More later.
